Professional freelancer Jack Bainbridge is actively pursuing development and association with the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP) – the main governing body of the proofreading industry.
The SfEP works closely with many professionals in the publishing industry and is recognised as a provider of fresh, proofreading talent for many publishers. Part of this involves students learning the latest BSI (2005) marking symbols, which adhere to the high standards of proofreading set by the publishing industry.
